Who will coach the recreational teams?
Farmington Soccer Club is a community-focused program, we strive to keep costs affordable and depend
on the support of volunteer coaches to make it all work. Head Coach volunteers will receive free
registration for their child. We also need volunteers for assistant coach who will assist the head coach
when possible. The coaches will pick their practice day(s) and will choose the location of the practice,
subject to availability. The primary goal of the coach is to help the kids enjoy the game. We value
patience and kindness over soccer skills.
When are recreational games?
For the Spring 2025 season, games will begin in early/mid April and will go until early June.
All divisions U9 and older play primarily on weekends but may have an occasional mid-week game.
Saturday and Sunday games can be from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mid-week games generally start
between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The U6-U8 Juniors program will be held on Saturdays or Sundays but games can be moved to a
weeknight depending on any rain-outs or coach scheduling conflicts.
Where are Games Played?
All home games are played at Founders Sports Park 35500 8 Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI. All away
games can be expected to be up to a 1-hour drive, on rare occasions.
All U6-U8 games will be played at Founders Sports Park.
When do recreational teams practice?
Practice days and fields are determined by the coach’s availability. Coaches will choose 1 or 2 days per
week, generally 1 hour to 1 ½ hour in length. Practices will be held at a local park or elementary or
middle school.
Are uniforms included in the recreational registration fee?
Uniforms will cost an additional $50. Players can choose to wear an existing Farmington Soccer Club
jersey if they have one already. Players must supply shin guards and cleats.
